Yelm Branch Unveils New Donor Recognition Display

A new donor recognition display was recently installed at the Yelm Branch of Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County. The display honors and thanks the generous donors, businesses, and community and corporate partners who advocated for and supported opening a new Boys & Girls Club in Yelm. The Yelm branch opened Sept. 4, 2019 after being a part of Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County’s strategic plan for a number of years.  

Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County is grateful to the City of Yelm, Yelm Community Schools, and the many local businesses and individual donors who made the dream of a Yelm Club a reality.  

The donor recognition wall display created to mirror the Mt Rainier backdrop visible in Yelm was unveiled in February 2021. The display will continue to recognize the contributors who work diligently to support the new Yelm Branch and the youth it serves.
