“I have had the privilege of visiting multiple Boys & Girls Club locations and I have seen them in action. Their staff is amazing and the services they provide for kids are something we are so grateful to bring to Griffin. I have no doubt that our families will come to appreciate what a great opportunity this is for Griffin students,” said Superintendent Greg Woods. “This isn’t before and after school day care, it is so much more than that. This is going to be a great place for our K-8 kids to learn and grow as an extension of the school day.”
“Community partners like the Griffin School District are vital to our mission of inspiring youth to realize their greatness,” said BGCTC COO Shellica Trevino. “Utilizing space at Griffin School means we can serve more youth, provide fun and meaningful programs, and serve as an extension of the school day for more kids and families who need us.”
