BGCTC and OSD Players New Partnership to Support Club Youth
The Olympia School District Players (“OSD Players”) celebrate their 25th anniversary of family-friendly musicals by teaming up with Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County for this year’s production of The Music Man. As its nonprofit partner, Boys & Girls Clubs will help OSD Players produce, perform, and promote the musical; all proceeds will strengthen programs provided to youth attending all six Thurston County Boys & Girls Club locations.
This year’s production, The Music Man, runs February 27-29 at 7 pm and February 29 and March 1 at 2 pm in the Olympia High School Performing Arts Center. Reserved seating is $14 and General Admission is $9. Tickets are available through the following:
One of the most universally cherished treasures of the American musical theater, The Music Man is by turns wicked, funny, warm, romantic, and touching — family entertainment at its best. Meredith Wilson’s six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy has been entertaining audiences since 1957 and is a family-friendly for every generation.
Sponsors ensure the success of this year’s production and allow BGCTC to open their doors to over 3,000 youth from around Thurston county by providing high-quality programs, safe and positive adult mentors, and help for kids to grow into productive and caring citizens.
